To prevent problems with your Hunter Ceiling Fan, regularly dust or vacuum the fans air vents as it is an air cooled motor. Light kits, blades and blade arms have a 1 year warranty while the fan motor has a lifetime warranty. For warranty issues have your original receipt, Fan Date Code, Style and Model # ready when calling technical support. You can locate these on the motor housing. If fan is non repairable Hunter will replace with same fan if it is still available or they will replace with a similar model. It is the customers responsibility to send the fan back for repair or replacement. The Hunter Original Ceiling Fan is an oil cooled fan and will be repaired, not replaced.
